Announcements for events held by organizations, ministries, and missions within the Central Illinois District of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod. 

This includes announcements for events for the Lutheran Layman's League (LLL), Camp CILCA, Wittenberg Lutheran Center, Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML) among other ministries and missions.

Central Illinois District LWML Convention

At Zion Lutheran Lutheran Church & School in Lincoln, IL

Friday, April 25th - Saturday April 26th

Servant events will be available on Friday afternoon with convention sessions Saturday. 

The theme for this year's convention is "Planting Seeds of Faith" ~ 1 Corinthians 3:6-7.

Registration forms and information are available on the LWML website at https://lwmlcid.org/upcoming-events/ and copies are on the counter outside the Parish Hall by the drinking fountain. 

Registration fee is $30 the deadline is April 10.

Lutheran Young Adult Fellowship

At Trinity Lutheran Church in Peoria, IL

Saturday, April 26th

The next Lutheran Young Adult Fellowship event will take place from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Saturday, April 26th.

The main activities for this event will be fowling and board games.

Bring your favorite kind of meat to share for dinner. (Kitchen will be available before this event.)

Camp CILCA Homecoming Festival

Camp CILCA invites you to their homecoming festival to celebrate 75 years of Camp CILCA!

Camp CILCA's Homecoming will take place from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm and will feature the following:

  • Outdoor Games
  • Live Music
  • Face Paint & Balloon Animals
  • Vendor Fair
  • Swimming & Boating
  • Wagon Rides
  • Food & Drinks
  • Auction
  • Lunch will be sold

* Camp CILCA's Homecoming Festival will be the main fundraiser for 2025 and the main event that will celebrate the 75th anniversary of Camp CILCA (which first opened for summer camp in 1950). 
Please note that Camp CILCA will not be holding their annual Memorial Day Hog Roast their its annual Chicken Fry & Auction on Labor Day Weekend this year.

S.E.L.F Retreat

Friday, August 22nd - Sunday, August 24th

Camp CILCA is hosting their first S.E.L.F. (Singles Engaged In Lutheran Fellowship) Retreat.

This is a weekend retreat for singles over the age of 18. 

During this retreat, attendees will participate in lots of activities and have a ton of fun with other Lutherans (who happen to be single) in a weekend full of fellowship and fun
